With youth unemployment remaining a pressing social challenge, the Social Tech Amplifier helped 11 tech ventures scale impactful solutions that improve employment prospects for young people.

Delivered in partnership with Catch22 and Ufi VocTech Trust with support from Microsoft and Hatch, the programme focused on unlocking the potential of early-stage ventures to thrive in the public service delivery.

Ventures received funding, expert mentoring, and tailored support across four key areas:

• Accessing B2G markets: identifying impact opportunities in public service delivery, testing solutions with real partners, and preparing for deployment.

• Venture development and contract readiness: supporting branding, strategy, finance, marketing, sales, and pitching.

• Technology support: accessing Microsoft’s Founder Hub, Azure credits, and guidance from technical experts.

• Raising investment: exploring different types of funding, investor strategies, and receiving hands-on fundraising support.
