The Longitude Prize on Dementia is a global, £4.42 million prize, scaling breakthrough technologies for people living with dementia in partnership with Challenge Works, Alzheimer's Society and Innovate UK.
We partnered with Challenge Works, Alzheimer's Society and Innovate UK to support the Longitude Prize on Dementia, a groundbreaking initiative designed to incentivise the development of co-created, personalised, technology-based tools that help people with dementia live more fulfilling lives.
Through 1:1 mentoring, masterclasses, panels, and access to our Big Tech partners, we supported 24 ventures to integrate cutting-edge technologies and data practices. We also conducted needs assessments and technology due diligence to assist with the challenge process.
We mobilised over 20 associates to support ventures across UK, US, Canada, Portugal, the UAE, Colombia, and Australia. 16 out of 24 teams (67%) advanced beyond the prototype development stage within 6 months.
'Strategic support from the Social Tech Trust has led to actionable steps that enhance our technical and product development, aligning with our preparation for the Longitude Prize's next stage.' - SuperSense
