Our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)

Our EDI strategic goals include promoting equality-driven ventures, addressing the needs of diverse founders and businesses, and embedding EDI into our daily operations.

In 2024, we’ve continued to deepen our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) by building on three core principles: listening to founders, offering a flexible and aligned investment model, and creating an inclusive ecosystem. These values guide everything we do as we work to embed EDI more fully across our operations and investment practices.


Our key EDI achievements in 2023–2024:

  • Launched our first board-approved EDI Policy and appointed a dedicated EDI Lead to drive strategic implementation across the organisation.

  • Submitted our first Diversity Forum Manifesto Signatory Report, using the feedback to shape our ongoing EDI strategy. As a signatory, we’ve joined a growing movement of social investors committed to advancing equity, diversity and inclusion across the sector—strengthening accountability and collaboration.

  • Rolled out our second annual EDI Action Plan, with a focus on f team training, equitable practices, and diversity data analysis.

  • Launched the Equality Transformative Tool – a pioneering due diligence and diagnostic tool co-developed with the Equality Impact Investing Project and Connect Fund. This resource helps investors identify and support early-stage ventures that are actively challenging inequality and building transformative solutions.
